Overview
Salvation is deliverance from sin and its consequences, accomplished through Christ's redemptive work. God provides the helmet of salvation to protect believers (Isaiah 59:17; Ephesians 6:17), and this salvation is revealed to all nations through Christ's righteous arm (Isaiah 52:10). The promised Savior, a horn of salvation, was raised up in David's line (Luke 1:69), and His salvation extends to all flesh (Luke 3:6).
Key Scriptures
"I will lift up the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the Lord" (Psalm 116:13, ESV). "The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer" (Psalm 18:2, ESV). "Now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead" (1 Corinthians 15:57, KJV).
Application
Embrace salvation as God's free gift through Christ alone, trusting His finished work rather than personal merit.
