Overview
Segub appears in Scripture as the name of two distinct individuals in Israel's history. The first was the youngest son of Hiel the Bethelite, who died when his father rebuilt Jericho in fulfillment of Joshua's curse. The second was a descendant of Judah through Hezron, appearing in the genealogical records of 1 Chronicles.
