Overview
Praise is fundamental to Christian worship and glorifies God for His attributes, works, and redemptive acts. Throughout Scripture, believers are commanded to praise God through diverse means—singing, playing instruments, and spoken testimony. Both the heavens and all creation are called to participate in this cosmic chorus of worship.
Key Scriptures
"Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name" (Hebrews 13:15, ESV).
"Praise the Lord with the harp; make melody to him with an instrument of ten strings. Sing to him a new song" (Psalms 148:3-4, ESV).
"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!" (Psalms 150:6, ESV).
Application
Make praise a daily practice by vocally thanking God for His blessings and character, remembering that all creation joins in worshiping the Creator.
