Time

Time is God's creation and remains under His sovereign control, marking the seasons of history and our lives according to His eternal purposes.

Overview

From the beginning, God established time as part of His creation, ordaining seasons and years for His purposes (Genesis 1:14). Scripture reveals that God works through history according to His predetermined plan, positioning nations and individuals in specific times for His glory (Acts 17:26). Every season has its purpose under God's sovereign rule (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

Key Scriptures

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1, ESV). "But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law" (Galatians 4:4, NASB). "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel" (Mark 1:15, ESV).

Application

Trust that God's timing is perfect for salvation and sanctification, responding to His call with obedience rather than anxiety about the future.
