Redemption

Redemption is God's act of delivering His people from sin and its consequences through the sacrificial work of Christ. It is central to the gospel and demonstrates God's love and justice working together for our salvation.

Overview

Redemption refers to God's purchase of sinners through Christ's blood, freeing us from slavery to sin and death. This redemptive work was planned before creation and accomplished through Jesus's death and resurrection. Those who are redeemed become God's treasured possession and are called to live as His holy people.
