Predestination

Predestination refers to God's sovereign foreknowledge and predetermined plan for His creation and the destinies of individuals. Scripture affirms that God's purposes are established and unchangeable, working all things according to His will.

Overview

The Bible reveals that God has foreordained events and outcomes according to His perfect wisdom and sovereign will. Rather than being surprised or reactive, God determines and directs history toward His purposes. This divine foreknowledge encompasses both the salvation of believers and specific callings and roles God assigns to individuals.
