Overview

God called Abraham and established an everlasting covenant with him and his descendants, the Jewish people. This covenant included promises of land, numerous offspring, and blessing to all nations through Abraham's seed. The prophets later revealed that Jerusalem and the house of Israel would be central to God's future kingdom purposes.
