Holy Land

Overview

God established the Holy Land as an everlasting possession for the nation of Israel, with precisely defined borders from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River. The land itself was to be treated with reverence, following God's laws for sabbath rest and jubilee observance. These regulations demonstrated Israel's stewardship under God's sovereignty.
