Overview
The Trinity describes the mysterious reality that the one true God exists as three distinct persons who share one divine essence. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are presented throughout Scripture as fully divine, actively involved in creation, salvation, and sanctification. While the word 'Trinity' itself does not appear in the Bible, the doctrine emerges clearly from biblical teaching about God's nature.
