Overview

Throughout Scripture, wind represents God's power and authority over creation. The wind can scatter the wicked like chaff, symbolize empty human labor, and demonstrate divine judgment. Yet wind also refreshes and sustains, reminding believers of God's constant provision and sovereign care over all things.
