Psalms

The Psalms reveal the heart of authentic worship and communion with God through prayer, praise, and meditation on His Word. They demonstrate the blessedness of those who delight in God's law and the importance of seeking His presence and protection.

Overview

The Psalms are songs and prayers that express the full range of human emotion in relationship with God. Psalm 1 contrasts the blessed life of the righteous who meditate on God's law with the way of the wicked, while Psalm 5 teaches us to seek God's guidance and protection through earnest prayer and worship.
