Overview
Marriage is God's design for intimate companionship and family life. Jesus affirmed that from the beginning, God created humanity male and female, establishing the foundation for husbands and wives to leave their parents and become one flesh (Mark 10:6-8). The husband bears particular responsibility before God to lead his household with love and faithfulness.
