Overview
Thorns appear throughout Scripture as reminders of humanity's fallen condition and God's sovereignty. They represent the consequences of sin, obstacles to blessing, and God's means of discipline. Most significantly, thorns feature prominently in Christ's passion narrative as symbols of His bearing our curse.
