Privileges of Saints

Saints in Christ enjoy remarkable privileges including intimate union with Jesus, direct access to God's throne, Christ's intercession, and the assurance that all things work together for their good. These privileges flow from our secure position in Christ and His completed work of redemption.

Overview

Believers in Jesus Christ possess extraordinary spiritual privileges as members of God's household. We abide in Christ and bear much fruit through Him (John 15:4-5), have boldness and confident access to God through faith (Ephesians 3:12), and experience grace that continues to abound to the glory of God (2 Corinthians 4:15). God works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28), and we are members of God's family (Ephesians 2:19).

Key Scriptures

"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me" (John 15:4, ESV).

"Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need" (Hebrews 4:16, NIV).

"Christ Jesus... is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us" (Romans 8:34, ESV).

Application

Rest in these privileges daily by calling upon God in prayer, trusting Christ's intercession, and believing that He guides all circumstances for your spiritual growth and His glory.
