Wise Men

The Wise Men were learned men from the East who recognized Jesus as King through a star and brought Him gifts of worship. Their journey demonstrates how God reveals Christ to all people and calls for genuine seeking and submission.

Overview

The Wise Men (Magi) were men of knowledge and understanding from the East who traveled to Jerusalem seeking the newborn King of the Jews. Guided by a supernatural star, they found Jesus in Bethlehem and worshipped Him, presenting gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Their visit fulfilled Old Testament prophecy and shows God's plan to reveal Christ to all nations.

"And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way." (Matthew 2:12, ESV)
