Overview

Biblical perseverance means remaining faithful to Christ and His Word throughout one's entire Christian life. It is not merely human effort but the work of God's Spirit sustaining believers. The path of perseverance grows "brighter and brighter until the full day" (Proverbs 4:18), and those who continue in Jesus's teaching become His disciples (John 8:31).
