One of the ancestors of the Nethinim who returned with Zerubbabel. Ezr 2:46; Neh 7:49. A Levite who assisted Ezra in explaining the Law, Neh 8:7, and sealed the covenant, Jud 10:10. A chief who sealed the covenant, Neh 10:22. Another sealer, Neh 10:26. The tithe-keeper appointed by Nehemiah to represent the laity, Neh 13:13.
