The Biblical Anahs

Most prominently, we encounter Anah as a descendant of Seir the Horite in Genesis 36:20, listed among the chiefs of the Horites who inhabited the land before Esau's descendants settled there. This Anah is specifically noted as "the Anah who discovered the hot springs in the wilderness while he was grazing the donkeys of his father Zibeon" (Genesis 36:24).
Another significant mention occurs in Genesis 36:2, where Anah appears in the genealogy as connected to Esau's wives. These genealogical records, while sometimes challenging to follow, serve as testimony to God's meticulous care in preserving the historical record of His dealings with humanity.
