Tenants, Evicted

Jesus taught about a landowner who leased his vineyard to tenants who refused to pay and ultimately killed his son, resulting in their eviction and judgment. This parable illustrates God's judgment on those who reject His messengers and His Son.

Overview

Jesus presented a parable about a landowner who entrusted his vineyard to tenants. When he sent servants to collect the harvest, the tenants mistreated and killed them. Finally, he sent his own son, whom they also murdered, thinking they would inherit the vineyard. The landowner responded by destroying the tenants and giving the vineyard to others.
