Prodigal Son

The Parable of the Prodigal Son illustrates God's boundless grace and forgiveness toward sinners who repent and return to Him. Jesus teaches that the Father's love eagerly welcomes home those who have wandered into sin.

Overview

In Luke 15, Jesus tells of a son who demands his inheritance early, squanders it in reckless living, and finds himself destitute.
