Overview
Priscilla (also called Prisca) was a Jewish Christian woman married to Aquila, a tentmaker. She and her husband worked with Paul in Corinth and Ephesus, becoming key partners in spreading the gospel. Priscilla is notably mentioned first in several passages, indicating her prominence in ministry and teaching. She and Aquila risked their lives for Paul and were greatly valued by the early church.
