Overview
Jonah was called by God to preach repentance to Nineveh, but he fled in disobedience. After being miraculously preserved in a great fish, Jonah obediently proclaimed God's message, resulting in the repentance of an entire pagan city. This narrative illustrates God's grace extended to all nations and teaches that obedience to God's call is essential.
