Overview
Mount Hor served as a critical location in Israel's wilderness wanderings, situated on the border between Canaan and Edom. At this mountain, the Lord commanded Moses to remove Aaron's priestly garments and place them on Eleazar, formally transferring the high priesthood. Aaron's death here marked the end of the first generation of leadership and a pivotal moment in Israel's journey toward the Promised Land.
