Salah (also spelled Shelah) was the son of Arphaxad and father of Eber, appearing in the genealogical records of Genesis and 1 Chronicles. He lived during the early centuries after the Flood, representing an important link in the direct line from Noah through Shem to Abraham. His descendants would inherit God's covenant promises.
