Overview
Kirjath-Sepher was a fortified Canaanite city in the hill country of Judah that played a significant role in Israel's conquest of Canaan. Caleb, one of the faithful spies, offered the city to whoever would capture it, along with his daughter Acsah as a bride. This demonstrates the military challenges faced during the conquest and the rewards system Caleb implemented.
