Overview
Kenath was an Aramean city located in the region of Gilead, east of the Jordan River. According to Numbers 32, Jair the son of Manasseh conquered Kenath and its surrounding villages during Israel's campaign to possess the Promised Land. This conquest exemplifies how God enabled Israel to take territory beyond the Jordan as part of His covenant promises.
