Overview
Zobah was a Syrian kingdom located north of Israel that posed a military threat to the nation. During Saul's reign, Israel engaged in conflict with Zobah, but David's victories decisively subdued the kingdom and incorporated its wealth and territory into the Israelite empire. These conquests demonstrated God's faithfulness in granting David military success and expanding Israel's borders.
