Zebulun was born to Jacob and Leah (Genesis 30:19-20) and became the founder of the tribe bearing his name. The tribe's territory included valuable land between the Mediterranean Sea and the Sea of Galilee, positioning them favorably for trade and commerce. Zebulun's inheritance lay in Galilee (Joshua 19:10-16) and included cities of strategic importance. The tribe is notably connected to Jesus's earthly ministry, as He made His home in Capernaum within Zebulun's territory.
