Overview
Throughout Scripture, treasure-houses served as repositories for silver, gold, precious items, and provisions. The temple had treasure-houses for tithes and offerings (Nehemiah 10:38-39), while kings maintained them for royal wealth and military supplies (2 Chronicles 32:27-28). These structures reflected both national prosperity and spiritual obedience to God's commands.
