Overview

Shupham was a son of Benjamin, one of the twelve sons of Jacob. He founded a family line within the tribe of Benjamin that was counted during the census in the wilderness. Little is recorded about Shupham himself, but his name appears in the genealogical records of Israel.

Key Scriptures

"The sons of Benjamin after their families were: of Shupham, the family of the Shuphamites" (Numbers 26:39, ESV).

Application

Though Shupham's individual story is not detailed in Scripture, his inclusion in God's record reminds us that the Lord knows and numbers all His people, making each person's life significant in His plan.
