Shiphtan

Shiphtan was a leader from the tribe of Ephraim appointed to help divide the land of Canaan among the Israelites. He served as one of the princes responsible for distributing the promised inheritance to God's people.

Overview

Shiphtan was an Ephraimite leader selected by Moses to assist in the allocation of the land of Canaan to the twelve tribes of Israel. As one of the ten princes chosen for this significant task, Shiphtan represented his tribe's interests and helped ensure a fair distribution of the inheritance God had promised to Abraham's descendants.
