Seth

Seth was the third son of Adam and Eve, born after Abel's death, through whom the godly line continued to Noah and ultimately to Jesus Christ.

Overview

Seth was appointed by God as a replacement for Abel after Cain murdered his brother (Genesis 4:25). Through Seth's descendants, God preserved a faithful line that led to Noah and eventually to Christ. Seth's birth marked God's gracious provision to Adam and Eve, ensuring the continuation of His redemptive plan despite human sin.
