Overview
Zerahiah is mentioned in the priestly genealogies of Israel as a descendant of Aaron. He appears in the genealogical records of 1 Chronicles as part of the priestly line and again during the post-exilic period under Ezra's leadership. His name means "the Lord has risen" or "brightness of the Lord."
Key Scriptures

Application
Zerahiah's faithful participation in Israel's priestly service and his return from exile remind us that God preserves a faithful remnant through whom His purposes continue across generations.
