Naphtuhim

Naphtuhim was a son of Mizraim (Egypt) and represents one of the ancient peoples descended from Ham. He appears in the genealogical records of Genesis and Chronicles as part of humanity's post-flood family tree.

Overview

Naphtuhim was one of the sons of Mizraim, the son of Ham, making him a descendant in the line of Ham rather than Shem or Japheth. Though little is known about him specifically, his inclusion in Scripture's genealogies affirms that God's Word records the nations and peoples of the ancient world, demonstrating His sovereignty over all peoples and nations throughout history.
