Elidad

Elidad was a leader among the Israelites during the wilderness wanderings who was appointed to help divide the Promised Land among the tribes. He represents faithful leadership in God's distribution of His blessings to His people.

Overview

Elidad son of Chislon was a prince of the tribe of Benjamin appointed by God to assist Eleazar the priest and Joshua in dividing the land of Canaan among the twelve tribes of Israel. His role demonstrates the importance of leadership and stewardship in distributing God's promises to His covenant people.

Key Scriptures

"These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun. And you shall take one leader of every tribe to divide the land for inheritance" (Numbers 34:17-18, ESV). "And from the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon" (Numbers 34:21, ESV).

Application
