Overview
Edrei was located in the kingdom of Bashan, east of the Jordan River. When Israel approached the Promised Land, King Og of Bashan opposed their passage, but God assured Moses of victory. The defeat of Og at Edrei was a pivotal moment, showing God's power against seemingly impossible odds and fulfilling His covenant promise to give Israel the land.
