Overview
Zalmonah was one of the many encampment sites where the children of Israel stopped during their forty-year wilderness journey. Listed in the itinerary of Israel's travels, it served as a temporary dwelling place as God guided His people toward the Promised Land. The exact location of Zalmonah is uncertain, though it was situated in the region east of the Dead Sea.
