Overview
Ragau (also spelled Reu) was the son of Peleg and father of Serug in the line of Shem. He represents one link in the vital genealogical chain connecting Noah to Abraham, and through Abraham to Jesus Christ. The genealogies in Genesis and 1 Chronicles preserve his name as part of God's redemptive history.
