Overview
The Hauran (also spelled Auran) was an ancient region east of the Jordan River in southern Syria. Ezekiel prophesies that this territory will be included in the restoration and division of the land of Israel during the millennial kingdom, indicating God's comprehensive plan to restore all the promised territories to His people.

"And this shall be the border of the land on the north side: from the Great Sea by way of Hethlon to the entrance of Zedad; then Berothah, Sibraim (which lies between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath), as far as Hazar-hatticon, which is on the border of Hauran" (Ezekiel 47:16, ESV).
