Overview

Heman the Ezrahite served as a chief musician and wise counselor during David's reign (1 Chronicles 15:17). He was renowned for his wisdom and musical talent, leading the temple worship with cymbals and other instruments. His fourteen sons all served as musicians in the tabernacle, demonstrating how God's gifts often extend through families dedicated to His service.
