1. God is Spirit
  • God is not a physical being with flesh and bones.
  • John 4:24: "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

  • He has no beginning and no end. He exists outside of time.
  • Psalm 90:2: "Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God."
  • 1 Timothy 1:17: "Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen."
3. God is Self-Existent (Independent)
