Overview
Throughout Scripture, robes carry spiritual significance. Priests wore robes as symbols of their holy office and God's presence. Robes also represent righteousness and salvation—the garments of the justified believer. In Revelation, the redeemed wear white robes, symbolizing their perfection in Christ and readiness for eternal communion with God.
