Overview
Throughout Scripture, pottery serves as a powerful metaphor for God's relationship with His people. Just as a potter molds clay according to his design, God shapes nations and individuals according to His sovereign will. This imagery emphasizes both God's absolute authority and the human condition of dependence upon our Creator.
