Overview
The palmer-worm appears in Scripture as one of God's instruments of judgment against His unfaithful people. This destructive pest, likely a type of locust or caterpillar, consumed crops and vegetation as a consequence of Israel's disobedience. Through this plague, God demonstrated both His power over creation and His desire to redirect His people toward righteousness.
