Overview
Hosea was a prophet to the northern kingdom of Israel during the 8th century BC, called to marry an unfaithful woman as a living illustration of Israel's spiritual adultery. His ministry emphasized God's unconditional love despite Israel's persistent rebellion and idolatry, demonstrating that even judgment flows from a heart of love.
