Overview
Huldah lived during the reign of King Josiah of Judah (640-609 BC) and served as a recognized prophetess in Jerusalem. When the high priest Hilkiah discovered the Book of the Law during temple repairs, King Josiah sent officials to inquire of the Lord through Huldah, demonstrating that her prophetic authority was trusted and respected even by the royal court.
