NOSE-JEWELS, mentioned in Isa 3:21, consisted of a ring of gold Nose-Jewels worn in the East. or other metal upon which jewels were strung. The nose-rings now worn by the lower classes in Egypt are from 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter, and are passed through the right nostril.
