Tekoa

Tekoa was a town in Judah associated with the tribe of Judah and the family of Hezron. It is remembered as the hometown of the prophet Amos and held strategic importance in biblical history.

Overview

Tekoa was a city located in the hill country of Judah, situated between Bethlehem and the Dead Sea. The town is mentioned in genealogical records as part of the inheritance of Judah's tribe.
