Zeeb

Zeeb was a Midianite prince defeated by Gideon's army during Israel's deliverance from Midianite oppression. His capture and execution demonstrated God's judgment against those who opposed His people.

Overview

Zeeb was one of the two Midianite princes who led raids against Israel during the time of Gideon. Along with his fellow prince Oreb, Zeeb led the Midianite forces that oppressed the Israelites. When Gideon's small army of 300 men defeated the Midianite host, Zeeb and Oreb fled but were pursued and captured by the men of Ephraim.
