Zabdiel

Zabdiel was a leader in ancient Israel who served as a military commander and later as an overseer of priests in Jerusalem during the post-exilic period.

Overview

Zabdiel appears in the biblical record as a faithful servant in two significant roles during Israel's history. First, he served as a military commander under King David's administration. Later, during the restoration of Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile, he held a position of leadership among the priests, helping to rebuild the spiritual life of the community.
